The mask is coming off in the Senate, and Patriots aren't going to like what they see underneath. While President Trump pushes his America First agenda to secure our elections and restore integrity to our democratic process, establishment Republicans are doing everything in their power to kill the SAVE America Act – and their reasons expose exactly why the swamp hates accountability.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune is leading the charge in what can only be described as failure theater, making grand speeches about election integrity while simultaneously ensuring the bill never sees a real vote. Meanwhile, Texas Senator John Cornyn – who should know better given his state's border crisis – has pulled a complete flip-flop on the filibuster when it comes to actually securing America's elections.
But perhaps the most disgraceful performance comes from Alaska's Lisa Murkowski, who has openly opposed the SAVE Act despite her constituents demanding election security. This is the same RINO who has consistently voted against conservative priorities while claiming to represent Alaskan values.
Why The Establishment Fears Real Election Security
Here's what the GOP establishment doesn't want you to know: the SAVE America Act would actually force Congress to be accountable to voters instead of lobbyists, special interests, and the deep state apparatus that keeps them in power. When elections are truly secure and every legal vote counts, career politicians can't rely on the same old tricks to stay in office.
"The swamp creatures in both parties know that real election integrity means they'll actually have to answer to We the People," said one conservative analyst. "That terrifies them more than any Democrat opponent ever could."
President Trump campaigned on draining the swamp, and the SAVE Act is exactly the kind of legislation that would do just that. But the establishment – including supposed Republicans – would rather protect their cozy relationships with Washington insiders than deliver on their promises to American voters.
The question Patriots need to ask is simple: if these senators won't fight for election integrity when they have the majority, what exactly are they fighting for? And more importantly, what are we going to do about it in the next primary season?
