The Israeli military has confirmed what many Americans suspected: terrorism has deep roots that extend far beyond individual attacks on U.S. soil. The brother of Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, the 41-year-old Lebanese immigrant who drove his truck through Temple Israel in Michigan last week, was a commander for the Iranian-backed terrorist organization Hezbollah.

This bombshell revelation exposes critical flaws in our immigration and national security apparatus that allowed a naturalized U.S. citizen with clear terrorist connections to carry out an attack on American Jews. How did our so-called intelligence agencies miss such an obvious red flag?

Ghazali, who became a naturalized American citizen despite his family's terrorist ties, deliberately targeted a Jewish house of worship in what can only be described as an act of domestic terrorism inspired by radical Islamic ideology. The attack bears all the hallmarks of the anti-Semitic violence we've seen surge across America since October 7th.

Where Was the FBI?

While the FBI has been busy targeting parents at school board meetings and Trump supporters, actual terrorists with family connections to Hezbollah commanders were apparently flying under their radar. This is exactly the kind of intelligence failure that puts innocent Americans at risk.

The Trump administration's renewed focus on border security and extreme vetting couldn't come at a more critical time. How many more Ayman Ghazalis are already in our country, waiting to strike? How many more naturalized citizens have terrorist family members that our agencies simply ignored?

"This attack represents everything wrong with our previous immigration policies - we let in people without properly vetting their connections to terrorist organizations," one intelligence source told investigators.

President Trump's mass deportation program should absolutely prioritize individuals with any connections to terrorist organizations. The safety of American Jews - and all Americans - depends on it.

The mainstream media will likely downplay these terrorist connections, but patriots deserve the truth. When someone's brother is literally commanding Hezbollah terrorists, that's not a coincidence - that's a pattern that our intelligence agencies should have caught years ago.

This is exactly why we need stronger vetting processes for people coming into our country. How many more sleeper cells are out there?

I live 20 minutes from where this happened and our local news barely covered the family connections. Thank you for doing the real investigative work!

Same here - the Detroit Free Press glossed right over this. Makes you wonder what else they're not telling us.

Finally someone is connecting the dots! The mainstream media has been completely silent about these terrorist connections.

Exactly! They only report what fits their narrative. This is why we need independent journalism.

Absolutely disgusting. When will our government take these threats seriously?

The fact that this isn't front page news everywhere tells you everything about media bias.

100% this. If the roles were reversed this would be wall-to-wall coverage.

I served three tours in the Middle East fighting these terrorists. It's infuriating to see them bringing their war to our synagogues and communities here at home.

This raises serious questions about how our intelligence agencies are monitoring known terrorist affiliations. If his brother was a Hezbollah commander, how was this guy not on a watchlist?
