President Donald Trump delivered a powerful message to the world Tuesday: America will protect itself – with or without our so-called allies in NATO.
In a wide-ranging foreign policy address, the Commander-in-Chief confirmed that U.S. military operations against Iran achieved their objective of preventing the rogue regime from obtaining nuclear weapons, revealing that Tehran was just one month away from having a nuke before American B-2 bombers put an end to that nightmare scenario.
"Nobody wants to have Iran with a nuclear, because these people are crazy. They're absolutely crazy, and they're vicious, violent," Trump declared, reminding the world why decisive action was necessary while the Biden administration spent four years appeasing the mullahs.
Iran's Military Decimated in Days
The President didn't mince words about the scope of America's victory. What the legacy media and hand-wringing globalists predicted would be a quagmire turned out to be a masterclass in military precision.
"Iran is something that was essentially largely over in two or three days," Trump stated. "The Navy was wiped out almost immediately, the Air Force came next."
And if Iran's leaders are thinking about retaliation? Think again. "We could take out their electric capacity in one hour," the President warned, adding that striking Kharg Island – the heart of Iran's oil exports – remains firmly on the table.
This is what American strength looks like, folks. No endless wars, no nation-building, no trillion-dollar boondoggles. Just swift, decisive action to eliminate an existential threat. Compare that to Biden's disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal and the $400 billion poured into Ukraine with nothing to show for it.
NATO Exposed: Fair-Weather Friends
But here's where it gets infuriating, Patriots. While America was doing the heavy lifting to protect the entire Western world from a nuclear-armed Iran, where was NATO?
Nowhere.
"I was surprised to see that NATO, while they agreed that it was a very important thing to do, they agree fully, nobody said, 'Oh, you shouldn't do it,'" Trump explained. "When they say it was a threat, but we're not gonna help, I think they're very foolish."
The President called it "a great test" for the alliance – and NATO failed miserably. "I've long said that, you know, I wonder whether or not NATO would ever be there for us."
Let that sink in. American taxpayers fund the defense of Europe. American soldiers stand ready to die for countries that can't be bothered to help us when we face a threat. Trump is absolutely right to question what we're getting out of this one-sided arrangement.
Real Allies Step Up
In stark contrast to NATO's cowardice, our partners in the Middle East showed what true alliance looks like.
"Qatar has been great. UAE has been absolutely been great. Saudi Arabia's been terrific. Bahrain has been very good," Trump said, praising the Arab nations who understood the stakes.
And of course, Israel – America's most steadfast ally – was right there with us. "Israel's been very, very strong, along with us. It's been a very strong collaboration."
The message couldn't be clearer: the nations closest to the Iranian threat recognize a strong America is essential to regional stability. Meanwhile, European bureaucrats issue statements and hold summits while contributing nothing.
China Meeting Reset, Cuba on Notice
On other fronts, President Trump announced that his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping has been rescheduled for approximately five weeks from now. "We have a good relationship with China," Trump noted, adding that "China actually has become economically for us very good."
And the communist regime in Cuba? They're next on the administration's radar.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a blunt assessment: "If you have an economy that doesn't work and a political governmental system, they can't fix it, so they have to change dramatically."
Rubio made clear that whatever reforms Cuba announced recently aren't nearly enough. "They have to get new people in charge," he stated flatly. The embargo stays until real political change happens.
America First in Action
What we witnessed Tuesday was the Trump Doctrine in full effect. Protect American interests. Reward allies who show up. Call out freeloaders who don't. And never, ever let our enemies obtain the weapons that could threaten our people.
The contrast with the previous administration couldn't be starker. Biden sent hundreds of billions to Ukraine while begging Iran to rejoin a failed nuclear deal. Trump eliminated the threat in days while spending American treasure wisely.
This is what happens when you have a President who puts America First – not the globalist agenda, not European approval ratings, not legacy media accolades. Just results.
The question every American should be asking: why are we still in NATO if they won't be there when it counts?
