A bombshell Washington Post investigation has ripped the mask off the so-called 'clean energy' revolution, exposing horrific slave-like labor conditions at a Brazilian manufacturing plant operated by Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD. The damning report reveals what conservatives have long suspected: the green agenda comes with a blood-soaked price tag that Democrats conveniently ignore.

According to the exposé, a specialized task force uncovered an elaborate human trafficking scheme that

"began in China, where job postings and foremen issued false promises of good pay — usually more than $1,700 per month — often without committing them to writing."

But here's where it gets truly sickening: workers were allegedly trapped in slavery-like conditions once they arrived in Brazil, their passports confiscated and promises broken. This is the 'ethical' alternative to American-made vehicles that the Biden regime spent four years cramming down our throats with taxpayer-funded subsidies.

The Real Cost of Going 'Green'

While President Trump's America First policies prioritize American workers and ethical manufacturing, the previous administration's obsession with electric vehicles propped up foreign companies built on exploitation. BYD, which received massive government backing to expand globally, apparently saw human trafficking as just another cost of doing business.

This scandal perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with the globalist climate agenda. Environmental extremists lecture Americans about saving the planet while turning a blind eye to modern slavery, as long as it produces their precious EVs. Where are the Hollywood celebrities and Twitter activists now?

The Trump-Vance administration's focus on bringing manufacturing back to America looks more prescient by the day. When you prioritize American workers over virtue signaling, you don't end up with blood on your hands.

How many more scandals will it take before Americans realize the green energy push was never about the environment — it was about enriching China and globalist elites at any cost?

Not surprised at all. The green energy push has always been about virtue signaling, not actually helping people or the environment.

This is exactly why we need to bring manufacturing back to America! The Biden administration is so focused on their green agenda that they're willing to turn a blind eye to human rights abuses. Absolutely disgusting.

Couldn't agree more. We're sacrificing American jobs AND supporting slavery all in the name of climate change. Makes no sense.

Meanwhile my American manufacturing business can barely compete because of all the regulations and costs, while China gets a free pass using slave labor. Where's the level playing field?

The hypocrisy is unreal. They regulate us to death while giving China carte blanche.

I've been saying this for months - these EVs aren't as clean as they pretend when you look at the whole supply chain. The rare earth mining alone is an environmental disaster, and now we find out about the slave labor too?
