As the radical left's Department of Homeland Security shutdown drags into its 35th catastrophic day, American families trying to enjoy spring break are instead trapped in security lines stretching out airport doors, down escalators, and into parking garages. Meanwhile, over 100,000 dedicated DHS employees — the men and women who keep us safe — are working without a single paycheck for the THIRD time in just six months.
Let that sink in. Three times in half a year, Democrats have forced these patriots to choose between protecting their country and feeding their families.
Airports in Absolute Meltdown
The scenes playing out at America's busiest airports look like something from a failed state — and that's exactly what the Democrat Party is trying to create.
At Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, more than one-third of TSA officers called out, leaving travelers stranded in hours-long lines that snaked through the entire concourse. "I feel bad for the workers… They need to be paid!" frustrated travelers told reporters. They're right — but tell that to Chuck Schumer and his radical caucus.
In Houston, families were forced to arrive three-and-a-half hours early just to make their flights, with lines at George Bush Intercontinental stretching down to the floor below the checkpoints. At LaGuardia in New York City, even TSA PreCheck — the program Americans pay extra for to AVOID these nightmares — had lines extending all the way to the parking garage.
"Unreal. Longest line I've been in — and I travel every week," one shell-shocked traveler reported.
Philadelphia International has been forced to shut down entire terminals — Terminals A-West and F are completely closed, with Terminal C shuttered last week. "It's so overwhelming… The TSA line was out the door around the building outside," said one traveler facing the Democrat-manufactured disaster.

Here's what every American needs to understand: this isn't an accident. This isn't a negotiating tactic that went too far. Democratic operatives openly bragged about "making people hurt" as part of their strategy to extract radical concessions that would shield illegal aliens at the expense of American citizens.
Read that again. They WANT you to suffer. They WANT those TSA officers — many of them veterans, many of them single parents — to go without pay. They WANT your spring break ruined, your business travel derailed, your family reunions delayed.
Why? Because they're willing to burn this country down rather than let President Trump secure the border and enforce our immigration laws.
The Real Cost of Democrat Obstruction
