California has become ground zero for one of the most brazen Medicare fraud schemes in American history, with foreign nationals operating fake hospice companies that have bilked taxpayers out of millions while Governor Gavin Newsom attacks the journalist who exposed it.

Investigative reporter Nick Shirley's bombshell expose reveals a sophisticated criminal network operating out of Van Nuys, California – what he calls "the hospice capital of America." These fraudsters set up shell companies in strip malls and empty offices, billing Medicare millions for non-existent patients while driving Cybertrucks, BMWs, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles purchased with your tax dollars.

Empty Offices, Full Bank Accounts

The scale of this theft is staggering. Miracle Healing Hospice billed Medicare over $1.3 million and received nearly a million in payments – all from an empty building. Guardian of Angels Hospice in the same complex billed $4.8 million. When Shirley knocked on doors, nobody answered because nobody was inside providing care.

All Day Hospice Care represents the most egregious example: $3.1 million billed across over 12,000 claims in just 19 months, claiming 505 patients at $6,000 each using only two billing codes. This isn't healthcare – it's organized theft masquerading as compassionate care.

The same pattern repeats throughout the neighborhood: HFS Hospice Care, Relief Home Health Care, SKH Home Health Care – all empty buildings with luxury vehicles in the parking lots. Some operations run multiple fake businesses from single dilapidated locations, using nothing more than white paper signs with logos to steal millions.

Newsom's Disgusting Response

When confronted about this massive fraud, Governor Newsom's response was as predictable as it was infuriating. Instead of thanking Shirley for exposing billions in theft, Newsom's team created memes mocking the journalist, dressing him up in costumes and attacking him personally.

As Shirley perfectly stated: "How stupid do you have to be to go after the guy exposing the fraud instead of the fraudsters?"

This is California under Democrat leadership – a sanctuary state for criminals who prey on dying Americans and disappear across international borders with Medicare funds. These tax dollars come from all of us, yet Newsom protects the thieves while attacking those seeking justice.

The Trump administration is taking notice, and the days of looking the other way are over. Patriots deserve accountability, not memes from a governor who enables fraud while American seniors suffer.

This is EXACTLY why we need to vote these corrupt Democrats out! Newsom would rather attack the person exposing the fraud than actually fix the problem. $19 million stolen from taxpayers while California has homeless camps everywhere - makes me sick!

Couldn't agree more! And they wonder why people are fleeing California in droves.

I used to work in healthcare administration in LA and saw this kind of waste firsthand. The bureaucracy is so bloated that fraud just gets buried under layers of red tape. Whistleblowers are the only ones brave enough to speak up and this is how they get treated?

Thank you for speaking out! We need more people with inside knowledge to come forward despite the risks.
