The mask has officially come off. Texas Democrats just handed Republicans the perfect example of their breathtaking hypocrisy by nominating James Talarico, a white man, over Jasmine Crockett, a black woman, for their U.S. Senate candidate.
This is the same party that spent months screaming that "racism and misogyny" were the only reasons Kamala Harris lost to President Trump in 2024. Remember that narrative? Democrats couldn't fathom that Americans simply rejected their failed policies, so they blamed it on bigotry instead.
But now, when it comes to their own primary in Texas, suddenly those rules don't apply. Funny how that works, isn't it?
The Rules Only Apply When Democrats Lose
Talarico, a state representative who checks all the progressive boxes, apparently beat out Crockett despite her being exactly what Democrats claim to champion: a strong black woman ready to fight the system. So what happened to all that talk about breaking barriers and representation?
The truth is, Democrats never cared about any of those things. They were just convenient weapons to use against Trump and his supporters. When it's time for their own internal power struggles, merit and electability suddenly matter again.
"Democrats can't keep changing the rules depending on who wins," one political observer noted, perfectly capturing the party's selective outrage.
This Texas primary exposes what many Americans already suspected: the left's obsession with race and gender is purely performative. It's a tool they deploy when it serves their political interests and abandon the moment it becomes inconvenient.
Another Democrat Double Standard
Think about the implications here, Patriots. If Democrats truly believed their own rhetoric about systemic racism and misogyny determining election outcomes, wouldn't they be outraged by their own voters' choice in Texas?
Instead, we hear crickets. No calls for soul-searching. No demands for the party to examine its own biases. Just business as usual.
This is exactly why the American people rejected the Democrats' divisive messaging in 2024 and chose President Trump's unifying America First agenda instead. Voters saw through the hypocrisy then, and this Texas primary just proves they were right all along.
