Virginia Democrats have just shoved through another piece of woke legislation that clearly discriminates against white men, mandating that state agencies hand 42% of all contracts to minority and women-owned businesses regardless of merit or qualifications.
The racist bill now sits on Governor Abigail Spanberger's desk, where the Democrat is expected to gleefully sign legislation that essentially tells white male business owners they need not apply for nearly half of all state contracts.
Constitutional law experts are sounding the alarm, calling the measure a blatant violation of the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause. But since when have radical Democrats cared about the Constitution?
State-Sanctioned Racism in Action
This isn't about helping disadvantaged communities – it's about punishing white men for the crime of existing. The 42% mandate doesn't consider qualifications, competitive pricing, or track record. It's pure identity politics masquerading as social justice.
"This is exactly the kind of reverse discrimination that violates everything America stands for," said one constitutional scholar who requested anonymity due to the current political climate. "The state is literally picking winners and losers based on race and sex."
Virginia Republicans are rightfully calling this unconstitutional garbage what it is – legalized discrimination that will inevitably face court challenges. But the damage to Virginia's business climate and the principle of equal treatment under law has already been done.
The Left's War on Merit Continues
While President Trump is working to eliminate DEI poison from federal agencies, blue state Democrats like Spanberger are doubling down on their racist agenda. This Virginia bill is just the latest example of how the radical left views white men as second-class citizens in their own country.
Patriots need to ask themselves: if this discriminatory scheme is legal, what's next? Will Virginia start mandating racial quotas for everything from university admissions to housing contracts?
The good news is that Trump's Justice Department won't stand for this constitutional violation. The question is whether Virginia taxpayers will foot the bill for defending this indefensible law when the inevitable federal lawsuit arrives.
