House Democrats showed their true priorities Friday when Rep. Lois Frankel (D-FL) grilled National Security Advisor Mike Waltz about Gaza aid distribution while completely ignoring the bombshell revelation that 19 UN workers have documented ties to Hamas terrorists.
During a House Appropriations Subcommittee hearing, Frankel—the ranking Democrat on the National Security panel—launched into Waltz about the Trump administration's common-sense reforms to humanitarian aid flowing into Gaza. But she conveniently sidestepped the elephant in the room: nearly two dozen United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) employees with confirmed connections to the same terror group that butchered over 1,200 Israelis on October 7th.
This is exactly the kind of misplaced priorities that patriots have come to expect from the radical left. Instead of demanding accountability for UN workers literally in bed with terrorists, Democrats are more concerned with attacking President Trump's efforts to ensure aid doesn't end up in Hamas hands.
"The Trump administration is implementing critical reforms to prevent American taxpayer dollars from funding terrorism," a senior administration official told reporters. "It's telling that Democrats are more upset about our oversight than they are about UN employees working with Hamas."
Waltz, who has been leading the charge to clean up America's foreign aid apparatus, defended the administration's new protocols designed to track where humanitarian supplies actually go. Unlike the Biden regime's reckless approach that saw countless aid shipments diverted to terror groups, Trump's team is demanding real accountability.
Deep State's UN Problem Exposed
The 19 Hamas-tied UNRWA workers represent just the tip of the iceberg in the corrupt UN system that's been bleeding American taxpayers dry for decades. These aren't just "sympathizers"—we're talking about active collaboration with a designated terrorist organization that uses human shields and commits war crimes.
But rather than join Republicans in demanding answers, Frankel and her Democrat colleagues are playing politics with national security. They'd rather score cheap points against the Trump administration than confront the reality that international organizations have been infiltrated by enemies of America and Israel.
Patriots should ask themselves: why are Democrats so invested in protecting a corrupt UN agency that employs terrorists? And why won't they support President Trump's efforts to ensure our aid actually helps innocent civilians instead of funding Hamas's war machine?
