President Trump's Department of Homeland Security is celebrating a major victory in the fight to secure America's roads after the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure approved groundbreaking legislation to stop illegal aliens from driving commercial trucks.

On Wednesday, the committee passed Dalilah's Law, named after a tragic victim whose story has become a rallying cry for common-sense immigration enforcement. The bill would ban states from issuing commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) to illegal aliens and restrict issuance to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and holders of specific work visas.

But here's the kicker - the legislation doesn't just prevent future CDL issuance to illegals. It requires the immediate revocation of any existing commercial licenses held by ineligible aliens already on our roads. That's what real enforcement looks like, folks.

Father's Heartbreaking Plea: 'Use My Daughter as an Example'

The bill's namesake represents every parent's worst nightmare - a life cut short by America's broken immigration system that prioritizes political correctness over public safety. The victim's father courageously stepped forward with a devastating plea: "Use my daughter as an example" to prevent future tragedies.

How many more American families have to suffer before we secure our borders and enforce our laws? How many more preventable deaths will Democrats ignore while they virtue signal about "comprehensive immigration reform"?

This is exactly the kind of America First legislation that President Trump's second term is delivering. While the Biden regime spent four years rolling out the red carpet for illegal aliens, the Trump-Vance administration is putting American safety first.

Secretary Kristi Noem's DHS is already working overtime to implement Trump's mass deportation agenda, and Dalilah's Law represents another crucial tool in the fight to restore law and order to our immigration system.

The legislation now heads to the full House, where Republicans must unite to pass this life-saving measure. Every American deserves to drive on roads where commercial truckers are legal, licensed, and accountable under U.S. law.

Patriots, this is what happens when we elect leaders who actually fight for America instead of apologizing for it. How many more victories will it take for the establishment to realize that America First isn't just a slogan - it's a mandate?

About time! I've been driving commercial for 15 years and it's basic common sense that you need proper documentation and background checks for CDL licenses. This should have been done years ago.

Absolutely right. The trucking industry has enough challenges without adding this unnecessary risk to our highways.

Finally some action from the House! My heart goes out to the family affected by this tragedy - no one should have to go through that because of failed policies.
