Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha didn't hold back his disgust at the "tone deaf" spectacle, calling it the "best" unintentional comedy as privileged American leftists post glamorous photos from Cuban resorts while locals can't even keep their lights on.
Among the activists making fools of themselves are Twitch streamer Hasan Piker and Isra Hirsi, the daughter of far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). These champions of socialism are apparently enjoying all the capitalist luxuries that Cuba's tourist infrastructure provides for wealthy foreigners – while regular Cubans are left in the dark.

Cuba has suffered three major blackouts just this month alone, exposing the complete failure of the socialist system that these American leftists love to praise from their ivory towers. But instead of witnessing the harsh reality of communist governance, these activists are insulated in luxury accommodations that ordinary Cubans could never dream of accessing.

This latest embarrassment perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with today's Democratic Party. They'll lecture hardworking Americans about privilege and inequality, then jet off to communist dictatorships for Instagram-worthy vacation photos while the oppressed masses they claim to champion suffer in darkness.
