Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is getting absolutely crushed in a new poll that spells disaster for her re-election campaign, as even deep-blue LA residents are finally fed up with the Democrat's disastrous leadership of their crime-infested, homeless-overrun city.
A Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies/Los Angeles Times poll delivered what political analysts are calling "downright devastating" news for Bass - a majority of LA residents now DISAPPROVE of their mayor just two months before the Democratic primary.
Think about that, Patriots. This is LOS ANGELES we're talking about - a city so liberal they'd probably elect a progressive houseplant if it promised more bike lanes. If Karen Bass can't even win over her own Democrat base, you know the situation is absolutely dire.
"That she's having this much trouble against such a little-known field bodes very, very poorly for her," one political observer noted. Translation: Bass is such a train wreck that even unknown challengers are looking better to voters desperate for anyone but her.
"Los Angeles residents appear to be souring on the Democratic mayor after various scandals and controversies," the poll findings revealed.
This is what happens when radical Democrat policies meet reality, folks. While Bass has been busy pushing woke nonsense and enabling the very criminals terrorizing her city, ordinary Angelenos - many of whom probably voted Democrat their entire lives - are waking up to the nightmare their leaders have created.
The Chickens Come Home to Roost
For too long, Democrat-run cities like LA have been laboratories for every failed progressive experiment imaginable. Defund the police? Check. Decriminalize theft? Check. Enable homeless encampments to take over entire neighborhoods? Double check.
Now the bills are coming due, and even LA's most loyal Democrats are starting to connect the dots between their leadership's policies and their city's rapid descent into chaos.
The question isn't whether Karen Bass will survive this political bloodbath - it's whether Los Angeles voters will finally learn their lesson about putting radical Democrats in charge of major cities. Don't hold your breath.
