While President Trump is working tirelessly to broker a peace deal and end the Ukraine money pit that drained billions from American taxpayers, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is still making the rounds with his hand out – this time in Saudi Arabia.
Zelensky made a surprise visit to the Kingdom on Thursday, peddling Ukraine's so-called "drone defense expertise" to Gulf States in what amounts to another cash grab disguised as a defense partnership. The comedian-turned-president is desperately trying to monetize his country's war experience while Trump administration officials work behind the scenes to bring this costly conflict to an end.
This latest begging tour comes as the Trump-Vance administration has made it crystal clear that the days of blank checks to Ukraine are OVER. Americans voted decisively in 2024 to put America First – not Ukraine first, not Europe first, but AMERICA FIRST.
The Endless War Machine Keeps Grinding
For nearly three years, the Biden regime funneled over $100 billion in taxpayer money to Ukraine while our own border remained wide open and American cities crumbled. Now Zelensky is trying to create new revenue streams with Middle Eastern partners, likely hoping to pressure the Trump administration into continued support.
"Ukraine has become expert at defending against kamikaze drone attacks," Zelensky reportedly told Saudi officials. But here's what he's NOT saying: that expertise was bought and paid for by hardworking American families who struggled to put food on the table while their tax dollars funded foreign wars.
Meanwhile, President Trump and his national security team, led by advisor Mike Waltz, are pursuing the diplomatic solution that should have happened years ago. Trump promised to end this conflict within 24 hours of taking office, and unlike his predecessor, he actually keeps his promises to the American people.
The question patriots need to ask is simple: How many more countries will Zelensky visit with his hand out before he accepts that the gravy train has left the station? Trump is bringing peace through strength, not endless welfare for foreign nations.
