Anything less sends the message that federal agents can target conservatives with impunity, regardless of who sits in the Oval Office.
O'Keefe isn't asking for special treatment – he's asking for equal justice under the law. The same justice system that relentlessly pursued J6 grandmothers should have no problem prosecuting federal agents who trampled the First Amendment.
