James O'Keefe, the fearless muckraker who has exposed corruption from Big Pharma to the mainstream media, is furious – and this time, his anger is directed at an unlikely target: President Trump's own Department of Justice.
The founder of O'Keefe Media Group went public with his frustration this week, revealing that despite the change in administration, the DOJ under Attorney General Pam Bondi has failed to hold accountable the federal agents who conducted what O'Keefe calls an unconstitutional raid on his home during the Biden regime.
The Raid That Started It All
Patriots will remember the shocking November 2021 pre-dawn raid on O'Keefe's home by Biden's FBI. The supposed justification? Ashley Biden's diary, which O'Keefe maintains he handled journalistically and turned over to law enforcement when its authenticity couldn't be verified. Instead of being thanked for doing the right thing, O'Keefe found himself staring down armed federal agents.
The raid wasn't just heavy-handed – it was a calculated attack on the First Amendment. The feds seized O'Keefe's confidential source materials, attorney-client privileged communications, and journalistic work product. A federal judge was so disturbed by the DOJ's conduct that he appointed a special master to review the seized materials.
New Administration, Same Protection Racket?
Here's where it gets infuriating for conservatives who expected accountability under Trump 2.0.
O'Keefe has been vocal about his expectation that the new administration would investigate and prosecute the agents and officials responsible for what he views as a politically-motivated assault on journalism. Instead, he says he's been met with silence and inaction from Bondi's DOJ.
"These people violated my constitutional rights. They raided a journalist's home. And now we have Republicans in charge, and nothing is happening," O'Keefe has stated in recent appearances.
The undercover journalist isn't just disappointed – he's enraged. And frankly, he has every right to be.
Is the Deep State Still Running the Show?
This situation raises uncomfortable questions that the Trump administration needs to answer. We were promised that the weaponization of federal agencies against conservatives would end. We were told the Department of Justice would be cleaned out and reformed. President Trump himself has spoken repeatedly about the two-tiered justice system that protects Democrats while persecuting his supporters.
So why is James O'Keefe – a man who has done more to expose leftist corruption than almost any journalist in America – still waiting for justice?
The career bureaucrats at the DOJ didn't disappear on January 20, 2025. Many of the same officials who enabled the weaponization under Merrick Garland are still collecting government paychecks. Are they slow-walking accountability? Is the Deep State still protecting its own?
What Needs to Happen
AG Bondi needs to make this right, and fast. The agents who signed off on raiding a journalist's home in clear violation of DOJ guidelines protecting the press must face consequences. The officials who approved this operation need to be identified and held accountable. Anything less sends the message that federal agents can target conservatives with impunity, regardless of who sits in the Oval Office.
O'Keefe isn't asking for special treatment – he's asking for equal justice under the law. The same justice system that relentlessly pursued J6 grandmothers should have no problem prosecuting federal agents who trampled the First Amendment.
President Trump has shown he's willing to take on the Deep State. Now it's time for his DOJ to prove that accountability isn't just a campaign slogan. James O'Keefe deserves answers – and so do the millions of Americans who are watching to see if this administration will truly drain the swamp, or just rearrange the furniture.
