The war on Christianity has claimed another victim in socialist Europe, as Finland's Supreme Court convicted Christian Democrat Member of Parliament Päivi Räsänen on Thursday for the 'crime' of expressing biblical views on homosexuality—in a pamphlet published 22 years ago.

In a razor-thin 3-2 decision that should terrify every freedom-loving American, the Finnish high court found Räsänen guilty of 'agitation against a population group' over her 2004 publication that dared to present traditional Christian teachings on marriage and sexuality.

Let that sink in, Patriots. A sitting lawmaker—a grandmother and medical doctor—now has a criminal conviction for sharing her faith-based beliefs over two decades ago. This is the dystopian future the radical left wants to import to America.

When Faith Becomes a 'Crime'

Räsänen's 'offense'? Writing a pamphlet that expressed the same biblical principles that billions of Christians worldwide have believed for thousands of years. But in the new secular order sweeping across Europe, quoting Scripture can now land you in court—and apparently, with a criminal record.

This outrageous persecution comes as no surprise to those watching Europe's rapid descent into authoritarian secularism. While Islamic extremists receive kid-glove treatment, Christian lawmakers face prosecution for thoughtcrimes that wouldn't have raised an eyebrow just a generation ago.

The same progressive elites who lecture us about 'tolerance' and 'diversity' have zero tolerance for the diverse viewpoints of faithful Christians.

Here's what every American needs to understand: This isn't happening in some far-off dictatorship. This is happening in Finland—supposedly a 'free' Western democracy and NATO ally. If they can criminalize Christian beliefs there, what's stopping them from trying the same thing here?

The Global War on Faith

Räsänen's conviction is part of a broader assault on Christian values across the West. From Canadian pastors jailed for holding church services to British citizens arrested for praying silently, the secular left's tolerance only extends to those who bow to their woke orthodoxy.

Thank God we have President Trump back in the White House, fighting to protect our First Amendment rights. But this Finnish travesty should serve as a wake-up call: The globalist elite won't stop until biblical Christianity is branded as hate speech everywhere.

How long before they come for American pastors who preach from Leviticus or Romans? How long before our own Supreme Court faces pressure to criminalize traditional Christian teaching?

This is absolutely terrifying. When quoting the Bible becomes a crime, we've lost all sense of religious freedom.

Exactly! What's next - criminalizing church sermons?

Finland used to be a beacon of freedom. Now they're prosecuting lawmakers for their faith?

This could easily happen in America too if we're not careful. Vote accordingly!

Unbelievable! Absolutely unbelievable!

This hits close to home. I've had my own sermons questioned by local officials who claimed they were 'divisive.' The persecution is real and it's spreading.

Stay strong, Pastor. Your congregation needs you now more than ever.

They can convict her all they want, but they can't convict the truth. The Word of God will endure forever, no matter what these courts say.

I've been following this case for months. The fact that they're prosecuting someone for a 22-year-old pamphlet shows how radical the left has become in silencing Christian voices.

Can someone explain how a biblical pamphlet from 22 years ago suddenly becomes criminal? What changed in their laws?
