In his memorandum, the President declared these circumstances "an emergency situation compromising the Nation's security" and directed DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and OMB Director Russell Vought to use available funds with "a reasonable and logical nexus to TSA operations" to ensure workers get paid.
"If Democrats in the Congress will not act to honor the service of our TSA officers, who are now performing their critical public safety responsibilities without knowing whether they will be able to buy food for their families or pay their rent, then my Administration will take action," Trump wrote.
That's leadership, folks. While Chuck Schumer and his radical caucus hold American travelers hostage to protect illegal alien criminals, President Trump is finding solutions.
