Bruce Springsteen has officially lost whatever connection he once had to working-class Americans, launching what can only be described as a 'Trump Derangement Tour' that celebrates resistance to President Trump's historic crackdown on illegal immigration.
The aging rock star chose Minneapolis as ground zero for his latest political tantrum, praising the city's residents for their 'courage in standing up against the federal immigration crackdown.' Because apparently, in Springsteen's warped worldview, protecting American communities from criminal illegal aliens is something to resist.
This is the same Bruce Springsteen who once sang about the struggles of blue-collar workers, now cheerleading for policies that undercut American wages and flood communities with unvetted migrants. Talk about abandoning your roots.
Hollywood Elite vs. Real Americans
While Springsteen strums his guitar in defiance from his multi-million dollar mansion, real Americans are celebrating Trump's decisive action to secure our borders and remove dangerous criminals who never should have been here in the first place. The President's mass deportation operation is already showing results, making communities safer and giving American workers a fighting chance.
But don't expect 'The Boss' to understand that from his ivory tower. Like so many Hollywood elites, Springsteen lives in a bubble where virtue signaling matters more than the safety of ordinary Americans who deal with the real-world consequences of open borders.
'It's rich that a millionaire celebrity is lecturing working families about immigration policy while living behind gates in New Jersey,' said one Trump supporter outside the Minneapolis venue.
The irony is thick: a guy who built his career singing about American workers is now actively opposing policies that put America First. President Trump is delivering on his promises to protect American jobs and communities, while Springsteen tours around crying about it.
Maybe it's time for Bruce to stick to music and leave the governing to someone who actually won an election. What do you think, Patriots – should washed-up rockers focus on entertainment instead of undermining our President's efforts to keep America safe?
