The deafening silence from Hollywood's self-appointed moral guardians speaks volumes. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), the same man who spent years lecturing Americans about Trump's alleged misconduct, now faces serious sexual assault allegations from multiple women – and the celebrity left is nowhere to be found.
Where are the furious Twitter tirades from Alyssa Milano? The sanctimonious speeches from Meryl Streep? The hashtag campaigns from the usual suspects who couldn't wait to destroy Brett Kavanaugh over unsubstantiated claims?
Crickets.
This is the same Hollywood machine that built entire careers around the MeToo movement, demanding we "believe all women" – apparently with a giant asterisk: *unless the accused has a "D" next to their name.
The Same Old Double Standard
Remember when these same celebrities turned the Golden Globes into a political protest over Harvey Weinstein? When they wore black dresses and lectured America about sexual misconduct? That righteous fury seems to have evaporated faster than Swalwell's credibility.
According to reports, only one C-list celebrity has even acknowledged the allegations against the California Democrat – a stark contrast to the social media feeding frenzy we witnessed during the Kavanaugh hearings.
But this shouldn't surprise anyone who's been paying attention. This is the same Eric Swalwell who was literally compromised by a Chinese spy, Fang Fang, yet somehow kept his position on the House Intelligence Committee under Nancy Pelosi's protection.
Protecting Their Own
The reality is simple: Hollywood's MeToo movement was never about protecting women. It was about weaponizing accusations against conservatives while providing cover for their political allies.
These allegations against Swalwell deserve the same scrutiny and media attention that any Republican would face. But don't hold your breath waiting for Anderson Cooper to lead with this story or for Saturday Night Live to mock the Congressman who spent taxpayer money pursuing the Russia hoax while apparently engaging in his own misconduct.
The American people see through this charade. We see the selective outrage, the partisan protection racket, and the complete abandonment of principles when it's politically inconvenient.
Will Hollywood finally find its voice, or will they continue proving that their activism was nothing more than partisan theater? Patriots already know the answer.
