The radical left's war on traditional values has now escalated to targeting the family members of religious leaders, as Illinois police investigated a bomb threat Wednesday evening at the home of Pope Leo XIV's brother in New Lenox.
The New Lenox Police Department confirmed that officers responded to a reported bomb threat at the Sojourn Road residence of retired educator John Prevost, one of the Pope's older brothers, around 6:30 p.m. Specialized units, including the Will County Sheriff's bomb squad, established a secure perimeter and ordered the evacuation of surrounding homes.
This disturbing incident represents yet another example of the escalating intimidation tactics being used against those who stand for faith and family values in America. While the mainstream media downplays attacks on Christians and conservatives, this threat against the Pope's family cannot be ignored.
According to WMAQ-TV, the situation was serious enough to require multiple law enforcement agencies and the displacement of innocent neighbors from their homes. The fact that a retired educator - simply because of his family connection to the Catholic Church's leader - became a target speaks volumes about the climate of hatred being fostered against people of faith.
"I no longer answer the phone," Prevost reportedly told investigators, highlighting the ongoing harassment he's been facing.
Patriots across America should be asking themselves: when did threatening violence against religious families become acceptable? This is the same pattern we've seen with Supreme Court justices, conservative politicians, and now extends to the relatives of religious leaders.
President Trump has consistently promised to restore law and order and protect Americans' religious freedom. Under his administration, we're already seeing stronger support for law enforcement and a crackdown on domestic terrorism - but incidents like this prove there's still work to be done.
The investigation remains ongoing, but one thing is clear: the radical left's tolerance for violence and intimidation has reached dangerous new levels. How many more innocent Americans will be terrorized before we say enough is enough?
