The White House is making clear that under President Trump, America's police have the backing they need. A new post from the official @WhiteHouse account declares, "The Trump Administration BACKS THE BLUE. MAKING AMERICA SAFE AGAIN," and includes a video detailing early results.

In the video, a speaker says, "There definitely is a renewed sense of energy for a law enforcement in this nation. It's night and day. What the changes that are already seen in the past several months."

Coalition of 22 Agencies Takes Back an American City

According to the administration, a coordinated effort brought together significant resources: "We brought together 22 federal agencies, state and local police and 1,500 members of the incredible National Guard dismissed the grip of the violent criminals of this iconic American city."

The results, they say, are measurable: "In total, we've arrested 7,000 criminals. Seize more than 1,100 illegal guns, taken more than 1,000 pounds of felicit narcotics, and rescued more than 150 missing children making their parents beyond them."

Support from the Top Fuels Local Police

The video also stresses that backing from Washington matters: "Support at the highest helps the local law enforcement that you don't see every day." It concludes by praising the officers present, saying, "We have some of the greatest police officers in the world in this room."
