The chickens are coming home to roost from Joe Biden's disastrous foreign policy legacy, as 120 ISIS terrorists escaped from Syrian prisons controlled by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Monday - with nearly 40 still on the loose.
The SDF, once heavily backed by the United States under both Trump and Biden, is now pointing fingers at failed peace talks with Syria's transitional government for the massive security breakdown that allowed these Islamic State killers to break free.
While over 80 of the escaped terrorists have been recaptured, the fact remains that dozens of ISIS fighters are now loose in a region already destabilized by years of failed American intervention. This is exactly the kind of mess that happens when America gets dragged into endless Middle East conflicts without clear objectives or exit strategies.
Another Obama-Biden Foreign Policy Disaster
The Kurdish situation perfectly illustrates the foreign policy incompetence that defined the Obama-Biden years and continued through Biden's catastrophic term. These are the same foreign policy "experts" who gave us the Afghanistan withdrawal disaster, the Ukraine money pit, and now this.
President Trump, who took office just two weeks ago, inherited yet another international crisis created by his predecessor's weak leadership and failed diplomacy. During his first term, Trump actually defeated ISIS and brought stability to the region - only to watch Biden and his team squander those gains.
"The breakdown in peace talks has created a security vacuum that these terrorists are now exploiting," said one regional security analyst familiar with the situation.
This prison break isn't just a Middle East problem - it's an American security problem. ISIS has repeatedly shown they can inspire and coordinate attacks worldwide, including on American soil. Every escaped terrorist represents a potential threat to Americans at home and abroad.
The timing couldn't be worse, as Trump's new administration is already dealing with the massive border crisis, economic challenges, and the complete foreign policy wreckage left by the Biden regime.
How many more Biden foreign policy disasters will President Trump have to clean up? And how long will it take to restore American strength and credibility on the world stage after four years of weakness and incompetence?
