Hollywood's virtue-signaling elite are at it again, launching a dramatic new campaign against artificial intelligence while conveniently ignoring their own hypocrisy. Several A-list celebrities unveiled the "Stealing Isn't Innovation" initiative Thursday through the Human Artistry Campaign, crying foul about AI allegedly "stealing" their precious creative content.
But here's the kicker, folks – where were these same celebrities when Big Tech was literally stealing the voices of millions of conservative Americans through systematic censorship and deplatforming? These are the exact same people who stayed silent – or worse, cheered – when Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube silenced President Trump and his supporters.
The timing couldn't be more suspicious. Now that Trump is back in the White House and the MAGA movement has proven unstoppable, suddenly Hollywood wants to talk about "theft" and protecting creative rights. Give us a break.
"America's creative community is the envy of the world and creates jobs, economic growth, and exports," the campaign claims. Really? The same "creative community" that spent four years producing nothing but anti-Trump propaganda and woke garbage that Americans repeatedly rejected at the box office?
Selective Outrage Exposed
This is classic leftist selective outrage. When conservative voices were being systematically erased from digital platforms, these celebrities were nowhere to be found. But the moment their own wallets might be affected by AI technology, suddenly they discover principles about intellectual property rights.
The irony is rich considering many of these same stars have spent years pushing for increased government regulation and control – except when it benefited their political agenda to let Big Tech run wild censoring conservatives.
President Trump and his administration have consistently fought for ALL Americans' rights to free expression and fair treatment in the digital age. Unlike Hollywood's fair-weather freedom fighters, Trump's commitment to protecting American creativity and innovation doesn't depend on partisan politics.
Patriots should remember this manufactured outrage the next time Hollywood lectures us about "democracy" and "rights." Their concern for theft and fairness seems to only kick in when their own bank accounts are on the line.
