The radical left is melting down again—this time over NBC's decision to cut away from Green Day's predictably anti-Trump performance during Super Bowl LX's opening coverage. The aging punk rockers, led by perpetual Trump-hater Billie Joe Armstrong, had their little political tantrum interrupted much to the delight of patriotic Americans everywhere.
Green Day opened the big game by performing songs from their 2005 album 'American Idiot'—how fitting given their continued attacks on President Trump and his America First agenda. But NBC apparently decided viewers tuning in for football didn't need another dose of Hollywood elitism and woke propaganda.
Armstrong, who has spent years ranting against Trump and even attacking ICE agents protecting our borders, seemed shocked that a major network wouldn't give him a platform for his unhinged political messaging. The same guy who called half of America 'idiots' for supporting Trump is now crying about being silenced.
Patriots Celebrate While Leftists Cry
While Green Day's three remaining fans are throwing tantrums on social media about 'censorship,' real Americans are celebrating. Finally, a network had the backbone to say 'enough' to these washed-up celebrities who think every stage is their personal political soapbox.
"Maybe Green Day should stick to music instead of pushing their radical agenda on families trying to enjoy the Super Bowl," one viewer commented online.
This comes as President Trump continues his second term focused on making America great again—securing our borders, bringing jobs back, and putting America First. Meanwhile, these Hollywood has-beens are still stuck in 2016, unable to accept that Americans rejected their globalist vision.
The irony is rich: a band that made millions in capitalist America calling the country idiotic while enjoying all the freedoms and prosperity it provides. But when they face the slightest pushback from a private network, suddenly they're the victims.
Americans are clearly tired of having left-wing politics shoved down their throats during family entertainment. Will other networks finally get the message and keep radical activism out of our sports?
