Eileen Gu, the Benedict Arnold of Olympic skiing who turned her back on America to compete for Communist China, is now attacking President Trump for holding American athletes to high standards. The California-born athlete, who chose Chinese yuan over American patriotism, had the unmitigated gall to blast Trump's criticism of American skier Hunter Hess.
This is rich coming from someone who literally abandoned her own country to bow down to the Chinese Communist Party. Gu claims Trump's comments about athletic performance "run contrary to the Olympics" - but apparently betraying your homeland for authoritarian regimes is perfectly Olympic in spirit?
Let's be crystal clear about what happened here: Gu was born and raised in America, benefited from world-class training facilities and coaching, then stabbed Team USA in the back by competing for our greatest geopolitical rival. She chose the hammer and sickle over the stars and stripes.
The Audacity is Breathtaking
Now this turncoat has the nerve to lecture President Trump about Olympic values? The same Olympics where she proudly represented a regime that commits genocide against Uyghurs and crushes freedom in Hong Kong?
"When athletes compete at the highest level, they deserve support, not public criticism from leadership," Gu reportedly said.
Here's a newsflash, Eileen: Real American leadership means holding people accountable and demanding excellence. Trump built his entire brand on winning and expects the same from those representing our great nation. Meanwhile, you literally chose to NOT represent our nation.
The hypocrisy is staggering. An athlete who sold out America for Communist China is now trying to give moral lectures about sportsmanship and leadership. Patriots across America see right through this charade.
President Trump has every right to critique athletic performance and demand better from Team USA. That's called leadership - something Gu clearly doesn't understand since she chose to serve masters in Beijing instead of competing for the land of the free.
Maybe Gu should focus on her Chinese sponsors and leave American politics to actual Americans who didn't abandon their country for a paycheck.
