EXPOSED: Columbia University CAVES to Radical Left After Promoting Border Patrol Job Fair

Columbia University has once again shown its true colors, caving to radical leftist pressure after daring to promote a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) job fair on campus. The Ivy League institution quickly backed down when progressive students and faculty erupted in their predictable rage over the prospect of actually supporting American border security.

The controversy began when Columbia posted information about the CBP recruitment event online, offering students the opportunity to explore careers protecting America's borders and enforcing immigration law. But in today's woke academic environment, even suggesting that students might want to serve their country by securing our borders is apparently a bridge too far.

This pathetic display of weakness comes at a time when President Trump's second administration is ramping up efforts to secure our southern border and implement the largest deportation operation in American history. While real Americans celebrate these efforts to restore law and order, Columbia's radical community sees border enforcement as something to be ashamed of.

Academic Elite Out of Touch with Reality

The incident perfectly illustrates how disconnected our elite universities have become from the values of everyday Americans. While working families across the nation support strong border security and immigration enforcement, Columbia's privileged campus radicals treat CBP agents like pariahs.

These are the same institutions that welcome military recruiters for overseas deployments but suddenly develop moral qualms when it comes to protecting our own homeland. The hypocrisy is staggering, but not surprising from an academic establishment that has been captured by anti-American ideologies.

Under President Trump's leadership, CBP and other border security agencies are finally getting the support and resources they need to do their jobs effectively. It's a shame that Columbia University would rather appease campus radicals than support students who might want to serve in these critical roles.

How long will we allow our universities to be hijacked by extremists who hate the very idea of American sovereignty? Patriots need to hold these institutions accountable for their anti-American bias.

Why are we surprised? This is what happens when universities are run by leftist administrators who hate America.

I live 30 miles from the border and see what these agents deal with every day. Columbia should be ENCOURAGING students to serve their country, not caving to woke pressure.

Absolutely disgraceful! These are the same people who complain about border security but then attack the very people trying to secure it.

I served 15 years with Border Patrol and it breaks my heart to see this treatment. We need good people in these roles, and Columbia just sent a message that serving your country isn't valued there.

This is exactly what's wrong with our universities today. They bow down to the radical mob instead of supporting our brave border patrol agents who risk their lives to protect our country.

Couldn't agree more. These kids have no idea what real sacrifice looks like.

Does anyone know if other Ivy League schools have done similar things? I'm curious how widespread this anti-law enforcement sentiment has become in higher education.

Harvard pulled something similar last year with military recruiters. It's becoming a pattern.
