Here we go again, Patriots. Stephen Colbert, CBS's resident Trump-deranged propagandist masquerading as a comedian, is having another public meltdown after his own network apparently grew a spine and smacked him down. And predictably, he's wrapping himself in the First Amendment like it's some kind of sacred protection for his partisan hackery.
The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife. This is the same Stephen Colbert who spent years cheering on Big Tech censorship of conservatives, celebrating when Twitter banned President Trump, and applauding when YouTube demonetized patriotic content creators. But the moment his corporate overlords tell him to pump the brakes, suddenly he's a free speech warrior?
Give us a break.
Colbert is now "bravely" opposing his network's decision in what sources describe as "full comedian vs. Goliath peacocking mode" - apparently forgetting that he IS the establishment he's pretending to fight.
What's particularly galling is the timing. With President Trump back in office and actually defending the Constitution, suddenly every left-wing media personality is discovering their love for the First Amendment. Where was this passion when conservative voices were being silenced across every major platform?
The reality is simple: Colbert isn't fighting censorship - he's upset that his anti-Trump propaganda machine might actually face some accountability. For years, late-night television has operated as an arm of the Democratic Party, pushing narratives and spreading misinformation while hiding behind the "comedy" label.
Now that Americans have decisively rejected the left's agenda and put Trump back in the White House, even CBS is apparently realizing that maybe - just maybe - their relentless attacks on half the country aren't great for business.
But instead of showing some humility or self-reflection, Colbert is doubling down with theatrical victimhood. It's the same playbook every time: when liberals face consequences for their actions, they immediately claim they're being "oppressed."
Here's a wild idea, Stephen: maybe try being an actual comedian instead of a Democratic Party spokesperson. Maybe Americans are tired of being lectured by Hollywood elites who live in bubbles and have lost all connection to reality.
The Trump era of accountability has begun, and the media establishment's panic is showing. How long before other networks realize their audiences are fed up with the constant propaganda masquerading as entertainment?
