Leave it to a California Democrat to accidentally spill the beans on their party's latest obstruction scheme. Rep. Lou Correa (D-CA) just admitted on CNN that Democrats are digging in their heels on DHS funding – not because of any real concerns, but because they know President Trump's deportation operations are already running at full steam.
During Thursday's broadcast of CNN International's "The Brief," Correa let the cat out of the bag: "The White House has a lot of the cards on this one. We passed that big, beautiful bill last year," before explaining that ICE funding means Trump doesn't need Democrats to keep removing illegal aliens from American communities.
"That's why we have to hold firm," Correa declared, revealing the Democrat strategy isn't about protecting Americans – it's about political positioning against a president who's actually delivering on border security.
Democrats Admit They're Playing Games While Americans Suffer
Think about what Correa just confessed here, Patriots. He's essentially saying Democrats know Trump has the tools to secure our border and deport criminal aliens, but they're going to "hold firm" anyway. Why? Pure partisan politics.
This is the same party that spent years telling us the border was secure under Biden while record numbers of illegal immigrants, drugs, and criminals poured into our communities. Now that Trump is back in office and ICE is doing its job, Democrats want to play funding games.
"The White House has a lot of the cards on this one... That's why we have to hold firm." - Rep. Lou Correa (D-CA)
What Correa doesn't seem to understand is that his admission just proved Trump's point about the administrative state and congressional dysfunction. The President campaigned on cutting through the red tape and delivering results – and that's exactly what's happening.
While Democrats scheme about leverage and political cards, Trump's ICE agents are removing dangerous criminals from American streets. The contrast couldn't be clearer: one party focused on political games, another focused on keeping Americans safe.
How long will voters tolerate Democrats admitting they're obstructing effective governance just because they don't like the results?
