Joe Fitzgibbon, who serves as the Democratic majority leader in the Washington state House, was forced to issue a groveling apology after he appeared at a House committee budget hearing visibly impaired, slurring his words while discussing taxpayer dollars.
Think about this, Patriots – while hardworking Americans are struggling to make ends meet under the crushing weight of inflation and government overreach, this Democrat leader thought it was appropriate to knock back a few drinks before handling the people's business.
"I apologize for being impaired during the hearing," Fitzgibbon said in his statement, though he failed to explain why he thought drinking before official proceedings was acceptable in the first place.
Democrats' Serious Leadership Problem
This embarrassing display is just the latest example of the Democrats' complete inability to take their responsibilities seriously.
