Don Lemon is learning the hard way that the Trump Department of Justice doesn't play favorites with leftist celebrities who think they're above the law.
Attorney General Pam Bondi stood at the podium and delivered a message that should send chills down the spine of every radical activist in America: the DOJ has unsealed a superseding indictment charging 30 people in connection with the January 18 takeover of Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. Twenty-five were scooped up in a single morning sweep. Five more are being hunted.
And yes, Don Lemon — the disgraced former CNN anchor who spent years demonizing Trump supporters as "extremists" and "insurrectionists" — is right in the middle of it all.
The Irony Is Impossible to Ignore
Let that sink in, Patriots. The same man who built his entire media career calling everyday Americans "dangers to civil society" actually stormed a house of worship packed with families on a Sunday morning. He linked up with Black Lives Matter demonstrators, provided logistics and contacts, and — here's the kicker — handed out donuts and coffee to the very protesters who would terrorize innocent churchgoers moments later.
He gave them sustenance. He supported their operation. And that might just be the silver bullet that destroys his defense.
"You cannot attack a house of worship. If you do so, you cannot hide from us. We will find you. We will arrest you. And we will prosecute you. This Department of Justice stands for Christians and all Americans of faith."
Those words from AG Bondi should echo through every liberal newsroom and activist organization in America.
It Gets Worse for Lemon
The federal charges are just the beginning of Lemon's nightmare. A churchgoer named Ann Doucette has now slapped him with a personal civil lawsuit, claiming the attack left her with "severe emotional distress, fear, anxiety, and trauma." The suit alleges the rowdy agitators deprived her of her constitutional right to freely practice her faith.
Lemon pleaded not guilty and told reporters he "will not be intimidated." Big words from a man whose own past broadcasts are now being used against him. Remember when he said protests are supposed to "disrupt" and "make people uncomfortable"? That "everyone has to be willing to sacrifice something"?
Well, the DOJ agrees. And they're making him the sacrifice.
This Is What Accountability Looks Like
The superseding indictment, which remains partially sealed, adds new co-defendants to the original nine. Sources close to the case say new charges include federal conspiracy and civil rights violations. The case name on the federal docket shifted from US v. Levy Armstrong to US v. Sealed — indicating an expanding scope that should terrify everyone involved.
Every sanctuary city mayor who virtue-signaled during the Biden years, every Antifa organizer who thought they were untouchable, every celebrity activist who believed their status granted them immunity — they're all watching their phones right now, wondering if they're next.
This is what happens when you have an Attorney General with an actual backbone. This is what happens when the DOJ stops protecting the radical left and starts protecting the American people.
The Bottom Line
Don Lemon thought his media celebrity would be his shield. He thought his leftist activism was somehow noble. He was catastrophically wrong on both counts.
Now he's facing federal charges, a personal lawsuit, and the complete destruction of whatever remained of his reputation. Meanwhile, real Americans — the ones who just wanted to worship in peace on a Sunday morning — are finally seeing justice.
The question every Patriot should be asking: Who's next? Because under this DOJ, the days of leftist activists terrorizing Americans without consequences are officially over.
