The Department of Labor issued more than ten times the amount of civil monetary penalties for H-1B violations during President Trump's first year in office than in the previous year, according to the White House Rapid Response account.
"During President Trump's first year in office (FY 2025), DOL issued over ten times the amount of civil monetary penalties for H-1B violations as it did during the previous year (FY 2024)," the account posted.
