White House official Stephen Miller delivered a sweeping assessment of the American economy under President Trump, declaring the growth numbers 'explosive' and pointing to a Venezuela oil deal he says has dramatically expanded U.S. energy reserves.

Miller's remarks came in a video posted by the White House Rapid Response account, where he outlined a series of economic milestones he attributes to the administration's policies.

Record Employment and Income

"The economic growth numbers are explosive. Manufacturing is coming back," Miller said. "We have the highest number of people working today than ever before. Median household income is the highest level ever recorded. A record $20 trillion of investment."

Those figures, Miller suggested, reflect a resurgence in American industry and a labor market at historic strength.

Oil Deal Doubles U.S. Reserves

Miller also credited President Trump with a landmark agreement with Venezuela that he said has doubled the oil reserves of the United States.

"And of course, President Trump, because of his oil deal with Venezuela, it's hard to believe this shot, but it is true, has doubled the oil reserves of the United States with one deal," Miller stated.

He said the move would deliver lasting benefits to American consumers: "Which means we are going to have years and ultimately decades of gas prices at record historic lows while Democrats are trying to abolish fossil fuels, abolished pipelines, and abolished American energy production."
