WHITE HOUSE DOUBLES DOWN: ICE Agent Had 'Right to Defend Himself' Against Renee Good, Slams Critics as 'Lunatics'

The Trump administration isn't backing down one inch from supporting our brave ICE agents who put their lives on the line every day to secure America's borders. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered a scorching defense Monday of the federal agent who fatally shot Renee Good after she allegedly used her vehicle as a weapon against law enforcement officers.

Speaking to reporters outside the White House, Leavitt made it crystal clear where President Trump stands on this issue: our border agents have the right to defend themselves when criminals try to run them down with cars.

"This ICE agent was doing his job - protecting our borders and enforcing our laws," Leavitt stated. "When someone uses a vehicle as a weapon against federal officers, our agents have every right to defend themselves and their fellow officers."

The Press Secretary didn't mince words when addressing the radical left's unhinged reaction to the incident, calling critics who are demonizing the agent "lunatics" who want to handcuff law enforcement while coddling criminals.

"The same people screaming about this justified use of force are the ones who want open borders and sanctuary cities. They care more about protecting criminals than protecting the brave men and women who keep America safe."

Predictably, the radical left has lost its collective mind on social media, with unhinged activists comparing ICE agents to Nazis and calling for the elimination of border enforcement entirely. One deranged user, @MarkDoucet89399, called the ICE agent a "NAZI Thug" and demanded Congress "get rid of these @ICEgov NAZIs."

Another leftist extremist, @EllerAguilar, bizarrely tried to connect the incident to January 6th, posting rambling accusations about "angry violent Trump protesters" while defending someone who allegedly drove a car toward federal officers.

Meanwhile, @AndiMbss shared what they claimed were the suspect's "last words," attempting to paint Good as a victim while ignoring the fact that she allegedly used her vehicle as a deadly weapon against law enforcement.

This is exactly the kind of anti-law enforcement hysteria that President Trump was elected to end. While the radical left wants to defund ICE and abolish border security, the Trump administration is standing firm: our border agents will have the full backing of this White House when they're forced to defend themselves in the line of duty.

The question every patriotic American should be asking is simple: Do we stand with our brave ICE agents, or do we side with the lunatics who want to eliminate border security entirely?

As a former law enforcement officer, I can tell you that split-second decisions in dangerous situations are incredibly difficult. These agents are trained professionals who know when force is necessary.

Finally! Someone in this administration has the backbone to defend our ICE agents who put their lives on the line every single day.

Exactly right! These men and women deserve our support, not constant attacks from the left.

Can someone explain why this is even controversial? If someone threatens an officer, they have every right to defend themselves. This should be common sense.

The White House is 100% correct calling out these lunatics. ICE agents risk everything to keep us safe and all they get is hatred from the radical left.

The media won't tell you this, but ICE agents face threats and violence regularly. When will we start holding criminals accountable instead of demonizing the people protecting our borders?

The double standard is unreal. If this was any other profession defending themselves, there wouldn't even be a story.

About time we had leadership that stands behind our enforcement officers instead of throwing them under the bus!
